First I ordered a chicken noddle soup. Then a fresh fruit salad bowl. But the real me only came by the dessert: a (huge) plate of onion rings. Before ordering the plate of calories I felt tempted to ask the waitress to please bring me one, pleeeeasse, only one ring. I did not and she came back with 14 steaming ginormous onion rings. My late night junk food order summarizes life. The eternal debate between your angel and your little demon. The angel telling me that after an hour sweating at the gym's treadmill in this yet too cold Cambridge night I would waste all that effort in an irresistible onion ring plate?! The demon whispering to my ear: come on lady, that's why you go to the gym after all, to be able to eat greasy, unhealthy food. IHOP.
